This book is not about "homeschooling" at all. School is an artificial institution contrived by man. This book is about educating a child in the heart of the family given to that child by his Creator.

About This Quote

I am opposed to the school system because of the amount of time it takes away from family life. We are all very busy with our careers, activities, and other responsibilities. As a parent, I found that the amount of time I spent with my children dwindled down to very little. School did not help them to grow in any way.

It took almost all of their free time, which left little for me to spend time with them. I believe that God has given children to us so that we can educate them in His word and raise them up properly.
